Picture:
Name: Sunfire
Gender: She-cat
Age: 54 Moons
Clan: QuakeClan
Rank: Senior Warrior
Description:
White throat and belly lined the underside of the tabby she-cat. She has gold green eyes with a solid build and massive paws, uncharacteristic for her gender. Sunfire has become accustomed to using her weight to her advantage, often shifting back and forth to increase her speed her use her weight like a bulldozer.
Personality:
Sunfire is not a soft-spoken she-cat. With a heart of stone and sharp teeth, she is more then willing to give any cat a piece of her mind, including Crackedstar. As she is outspoken, she is not very friendly. Very few cats take solace in her company, and she is very much the same. When not berating the apprentices to try harder, she is often sharpening her claws upon the stones found near Snake Ridge.
History:
Sunkit was born in QuakeClan to an honorable mother and father, both whom were warriors. Cedarcreek and Rapidstrike took pride in their one daughter, although it seems that a mix of both their genes had created a monster. From the beginning, Sunkit did not fear telling a full grown warrior what she needed and what she thought she could do. The very fire in her soul often pushed other cats away from the spitting heat it produced.
Sunpaw was trained beneath Viperbite. The apprentice-ship was relatively normal, although the passing of her parents after a skirmish with a FloodClan patrol made her even fiercer then before. Purposefully, she would hunt along the FloodClan border, waiting for her chance at revenge. It never came, which was probably for the best. It would have caused all out war for FloodClan and QuakeClan.
Sunpaw became Sunfire, in a mock honor of her fire-like spirit. The tabby warrior then began to push her full weight into becoming the next possibly deputy, her ambitions rising much to the dismay of many around her. They had seen her as over-energetic kit once upon a moon, but now she was a blood-thirsty warrior wanting to prove the power of QuakeClan to the surrounding Clans by force. Quakestar saw this, and put a stop to it by choosing Crackedtooth as his deputy. Sunfire, furious with the choice, once again found herself trying to stoke the fire between clans by hunting dangerously close to the borders.
A part of her was redeemed when Quakestar gave her her first apprentice, Softpaw. While out training, the shakes came. Softpaw and Sunfire could not escape back to the safety of QuakeClan before they were both buried beneath some falling stones. Having a special place in her heart for Softpaw, Sunfire shielded the apprentice as best as she could.
When they were found, Softpaw had to broken legs while Sunfire sustained bruising and gouges from the sharp stones. The weight of her mentor had decimated her career as a warrior. Softpaw, as was customary for all warriors, was forced to the elder's den with a new name, Snappedlegs. Some say she died from her injuries, other say that she died from the sorrow of never fulfilling her training. The truth was, Sunfire killed her to put her out of her misery. It was quiet and dismal, but it was something that Sunfire felt she had to do. In cold blood, Snappedlegs perished.
Today, her secret still remains safe. No cat suspects her of the treachery, and she often wonders when StarClan will punish her for breaking the warrior code. For now, she lies in wait, preying upon the apprentices with a sick pleasure.
