QuakeClan The QuakeClan camp was built with twigs of thorn and dry brambles that they found on their desolate wasteland. To provide them with some constant water source, a large cracked boulder sits at the back of their camp, water trickling down into a stone bowl from the broken stone. Closest to the stone bowl lay the elders den to the right. To the left, the nursery. One gnarly tree, one of the few that still stands in QuakeClan territory, partially shelters the elders den. Mostly it shelters the medicine cat's den. The roots hide her stores from the dry weather and protect them from scattering everywhere when the shakes come. Closest to the entrance, and on the other side of the medicine cat's den the warriors den is hidden by thick thorn brambles. Next to the nursery two stones lean against each other in an 'A' formation. Brambles and thorns are used to protect the back and make this their calling rock and the leader's den. The flat stones that the leader uses to climb to the top get warm often so the elders might sun themselves.[/center] ((Picture coming soon))

Cleargaze had gotten into quite the fury yesterday. She had no ill will that she did not get Stormpaw as her apprentice. She had ill will that Sunfire got one at all. Graceful white she-cat slipped out of the warriors den into the morning light, her tail still fluffed with anger as she arched her spine to stretch. As far as she was concerned, Sunfire needed to be chased from this camp and straight into the barren lands where she could suffer thirst at the paws of StarClan. Turning towards the fresh-kill pile, Cleargaze took up the nearest snake and began to work around the not-so-tasty head. Crackedstar was hiding something, this she knew. Cleargaze didn't need the older tom to worry about her because as far as she knew, she had no special place in his heart. That still belonged to Pebblefur.

Stonepaw exited the apprentice den, her head low. She hated Sunfire so much, and she just wanted her gone, to leave. She looked at Cleargaze with a hopeful gleam in her vibrant blue eyes, but the leader wouldn't change his mind, she was just a new apprentice who winned too much. She flicked her fluffy tail crossly and sighed. What a horrible apprentice cerimony. She was so excited, just to have her eagerness swiped by the bitter... badger. An ugly bitter badger. A stinky, ugly badger. A stupid, sticky, ugly badger. She stopped her train of thaught, and sighed once more.

Crackedstar had dragged himself out of a nightmare infested sleep earlier than the rest of his Clan, as per usual. However, he was not the first to exit and feel the weak dawn's rays on his pelt. The tom had been brooding, wondering. What was the fate of Sunfire? He would probably never know until the moment came, and that made his claws scrape the stone ground in an uncomfortable manner. He finally rose, hearing sounds of his stirring Clan outside. The tabby tom spotted Cleargaze gnawing on a snake and decided to join her with a lizard of his own choosing. "Cleargaze," the tom rasped, his voice unused to talking for so long. "I hope you are taking it well." He surveyed her, thinking that if her character was that of a usual QuakeClan cat she would still be fuming.

Cleargaze swallowed the scrap of snake that she was chewing on when Crackedstar came up to her. He had his own lizard to chew on, which possibly meant that the talking would be minimized. Sadly, she was mistaken. Normally, she idolized her leader to the point she knew that he could make her happy. Today, she doubted everything she had ever thought of the noble, raspy leader. Her tail flicked as she dug her claws into the snake, snapping it's head to the other side. "Taking it just perfectly," hissed Cleargaze, flashing her sharp look to him.

Stonepaw sighed, happy that her mean mentor wasn't about tormenting all. She sighed and got to her small paws, and her vibrant blue eyes lit up with bright, dancing flames. She looked at her leader with a rueful glare, why had he given her Sunfire? She wanted Cleargaze. when and why had she looked up to him, when he only tortured her? He was supposed to be great, not horrid.
